At the airport
Major arrival airports: Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), Bangalore (BLR), Kolkata (CCU), Chennai (MAA). e-visa holders use designated counters.
Immigration
Have your passport, e-visa printout and return ticket ready. Biometrics are captured on arrival.
Customs allowances
Duty-free: 2L alcohol, 100 cigarettes, gifts up to ₹50,000. Declare cash over USD 5,000 or aggregate USD 10,000.
Prohibited items
Drones require prior permission. Satellite phones are banned. Certain antiques and wildlife products cannot be exported.
Getting to your hotel
